Savings & Investment
Making Your Money Earn Money
In most businesses, cash available for investment
fluctuates according to daily changes in cash flow.
Good management of your cash balances can help your
business add more income to your bottom line.
Likewise, through careful attention to the accumulation
and investment of retirement funds, you and
your Provident Personal Business Banker can develop
the programs that lead to financial security for you
and your employees.
Savings & Investment Options
The Provident Bank offers a number of ways to profitably
accumulate investment funds with the safety of FDIC
insurance. Choosing the savings vehicle that's best
for your business depends upon your goals.
Premier MoneyManagement Account
Why tie up cash with a long-term certificate waiting
to see where interest rates are headed? Provident's
Premier MoneyManagement Account lets you deposit as
much as you wish and earn a great rate without any
time or term commitment. As your money earns higher
rates, a Provident checking account, which is included
in your premier service, will give you complete money
managing flexibility to pay bills or reinvest as you
wish. You decide where your money goes - make deposits
or withdrawals at any time, or transfer funds between
accounts for maximum earnings as you see fit. And
that's it!
Business Savings Accounts
Earn interest at a competitive rate on your firm's excess funds. If you maintain an average monthly balance of only $250, there is no maintenance charge.
You have the choice of maintaining your funds in a passbook or statement savings account. Interest on either account is compounded daily and credited monthly.
Business Money Market
Earn interest at market rates while you enjoy complete liquidity and FDIC insurance. Check-writing ability is limited. If you maintain an average monthly balance of $1,000 or more, there is no maintenance charge.
Money Market Account Transaction Limitations
From your Money Market Account, you may write up to three (3) checks per statement cycle on your account. The minimum amount for a check is $500. You may make up to six (6) pre-authorized transfers from your account each month, of which three (3) may be payments by check to third parties.
Certificates of Deposit
Earn high interest rates with a variety of maturity terms. Choose the terms that your business needs dictate: from 91 days to 10 years. Interest is compounded daily and credited monthly.
